After a dreadful year for most and a tragic year for many there is at least the prospect of some respite from the Covid-19 restrictions over Christmas. Here in Bishop’s Castle preparations are under way. This picture shows our Alex Evans (last seen driving our brand new Volvo L90H loader) in the cherry picker helping to fix Christmas lights to the Three Tuns Brewery in the town. The Brewery has been here even longer than Ransfords (since 1642 in fact) so it seems only right to help a neighbour out when they ask.
On that theme we know that the businesses in Bishop’s Castle and in countless small communities like ours would be mighty grateful if you could do at least some of your Christmas shopping with them this year to help make up some of the trading lost in 2020. Money spent locally tends to stay local.
