A programme of continuous and prolonged investment in the mill has made Ransfords one of the most efficient operations of its kind in the UK. It’s a reflection of a business ethos which means we’re always looking for ways to to do things more thoroughly whilst keeping our processes as simple as possible, an ethos that brings benefits all round – both for us and for our customers. This load going in for treatment in our state of the art Timber Treatment Centre exemplifies that approach: 11380 individual bits of timber going in as a single charge. Once treated they’ll be on a wagon and out for delivery in next to no time. Efficiency really is the key.
