We were delighted to welcome students from Bishop’s Castle Community College recently for a talk about forestry and sawmilling with particular reference to our operations here. Many of the people working at the mill attended that same school and many of the visitors were children, grandchildren or other relations of staff here.
We certainly enjoyed the opportunity of telling them about what goes on here and we think they enjoyed the visit. It also has to be said that we took a quiet pride in the fact that – perhaps because they’re Bishop’s Castle people – they asked lots of intelligent questions and that their behaviour throughout was impeccable!
