Many of the logs for our Great British Timber come from forests which are quite close to our mill at Bishop’s Castle in Shropshire. Once milled though, the posts, rails and boards we produce often finish up in quite distant parts of the UK and Ireland. The fencing in these pictures is an exception since it is being installed in the beautiful the grounds of Mellington Hall Caravan Park in Powys, not far from us. The idyllic setting makes the Park very popular with all ages so the fencing is there to prevent young children straying too close to the water’s edge.
