The Bridges of Worcestershire County

Bridge-1 Iain and Alex Parker of Ross on Wye who trade as Bosbury Construction are following in a long line of father and son teams in the bridge building business. Whilst their projects may not quite be on the same scale as the Brunels or the Stevensons, they have nevertheless constructed 14 bridges at various points around Worcestershire – and more are in the pipeline. The bridges – constructed using our British grown timber – are supplied by us in kit form ready to assemble on site.

Bridge-2“It’s all part of making footpaths in the county more accessible,” says Iain who has just completed the two pictured above at Sockley and Castle Norton. “More kits for different footpaths are on order. It’s very satisfying that these constructions which stand in the heart of rural England are made from British grown timber from a relatively local sawmill,” says Iain. Couldn’t have put it better ourselves!
