The Goodwins are back in Henley Wood

The Goodwins are back in Henley Wood again doing some tidying up and thinning after the recent extraction of timber. Ransfords and the Goodwins go back donkey’s years and we have similar relationships with many local suppliers which we hugely value.
New facts and figures from Forest Research confirm the importance of forestry and sawmilling to the rural economy. It’s good to see that the land area in the UK covered by woodland has increased by 13.5% but we need to do better: as a nation we are the second largest net importer of forest products in the world. The Goodwins and us, and many many others will continue to call for the wider use of home grown timber!
