We’ve been long-term supporters of Bishop’s Castle Community College and of Norbury Primary School, both of which have nurtured various members of staff here and which now teach the children and grandchildren of many who work here..
It was nice to hear from them recently with thanks for our small part in making a success of the school Prom at the College and of the annual Batch Burner event in aid of school funds at Norbury. Of course we know that the real work which makes these places what they are is done day in, day out, by the staff and by countless volunteers. Hats off to them all and we wish them all a happy holiday as they break up for the summer.
