St. George’s Church of England School in Clun is one of many local schools we support whenever we can. These include the Primary School and Community College here in Bishop’s Castle as well as the schools at Norbury and Chirbury nearby. Many of our colleagues either attended these schools or have children and grandchildren who attend now, so helping seems the right thing to do.
Clun are at the start of a project to restore their pond and to create a timber framed shelter (artist’s impression shown here) so that pupils can observe the pond and work outdoors whenever possible. Our bit is to supply the timber. We’re on with it, and started cutting it yesterday!
